Spot a legit agency

A legit agency doesn’t charge you to take part, names the company behind it, gives you a written contract and tells you up front what it does for you and what it gets in return. The twelve red flags below show you how to spot the rest. You can measure us against every one of them.

The twelve red flags

1. You’re asked to pay to take part

Applying and casting cost nothing, and on a shoot, you get paid. Anyone who asks for a “contribution to production costs” or sells spots on fan shoots is making money off applicants instead of off their work.

Genuine costs that come up while working together, such as travel or a professional photo shoot, are a different matter. It’s fair when they’re agreed in advance with a stated purpose and a maximum amount, and it’s clear how they will be settled.

2. No legal notice, or a shell company

A company in Germany has to publish a complete legal notice (Impressum), with its address, registration number and management. Anyone who won’t say who they are doesn’t want to be pinned down.

3. No written contract

“Let’s just shake on it” means there’s nothing you can hold them to. Above all, a contract protects you.

4. Scene partner, location and pay aren’t fixed in advance

On a real production, the cast is set in advance, and you know the date, location, scene partner and pay before you say yes. Anyone who leaves that open, or only decides who takes part once on set, isn’t working like a production.

5. Exclusivity with nothing in return

A commitment that bars you from working anywhere else has to pay off for you: a real push, collabs arranged for you, someone looking after your account. Without that in return, exclusivity is one-sided.

6. No fixed term, or no way out

Check three things: the term, the notice period and what happens to your accounts and content after it ends. A contract with no way out is a trap.

7. Access to your accounts without clear rules

Anyone who chats and posts for you needs access. Even so, it has to be clear who owns the account, who has which access and what happens if you part ways.

8. Earnings without a statement you can check

Sometimes earnings go through the agency first. If so, you need a statement you can check for yourself and a fixed payout deadline.

9. Pressure and urgency

“Only three spots left.” “This offer ends tomorrow.” Anyone who rushes you doesn’t want you to think it over or ask someone.

10. You get pushed past your limits

A good agency asks what you want and what you don’t, and sticks to it. Anyone who pushes you, step by step, into harder and harder content because it earns more is making money off you instead of with you.

11. No age verification

An agency that accepts photos and videos without checking your age is being careless. With us, ID verification is mandatory before you upload your first image.

12. Unsolicited DMs

Anyone who messages you out of the blue to say you have potential is usually telling lots of people the same thing. Take your time checking out the company before you reply.

What’s standard for an OnlyFans agency?

Across the market, an agency’s share is usually between 30% and 70%, depending on what’s included. At the low end, the agency is just a go-between. At the high end is a fully managed account with chatting, planning and publishing your posts, and collabs arranged for you.

So look at three things together: how big the share is, what it’s calculated on and what you get for it.

What five questions should I ask any agency?

1. What’s the company called, where is it registered and who runs it?
2. What exactly do I get, and what do you get in return?
3. Who owns my accounts and content, during and after our work together?
4. How long does the contract run, and how do I get out?
5. Do you verify my age, and where is my data stored?

Anyone who dodges one of these questions has answered it.
